Who We Are

CiteVista is a GEO and AEO analytics platform that helps brands understand and improve how they appear inside AI-generated answers — not just in traditional search results.

The platform is developed by Berkay Can and Orhan Karcı, two practitioners based in Germany and Turkey who spent years working in CRM consulting and digital marketing before shifting their focus to AI automation and generative search. CiteVista is the product of that transition: built by people who work in the field, not around it.


Why We Built It

The starting point was a problem we watched unfold firsthand.

A digital marketing team at a fast-growing online comparison platform noticed a pattern they couldn't explain: their Google traffic was declining, but their competitors were holding steady. When they started testing AI tools — asking ChatGPT and Gemini the kinds of questions their customers ask — they kept seeing the same thing. Competitors were being recommended. They weren't.

They went looking for a tool that could measure this, explain it, and help them fix it. Nothing adequate existed.

That gap is what CiteVista was built to close.


What CiteVista Does

CiteVista gives brands and marketing teams the ability to simulate, measure, and understand their visibility inside AI-generated responses. This means going beyond traditional rankings — analyzing how LLMs perceive your brand, which prompts trigger citations, what search queries AI models use to gather information, and how your brand is positioned relative to competitors inside the model's own understanding of your category.

The platform is built around GEO and AEO as complementary disciplines: GEO focuses on structuring your brand's signals so LLMs consistently cite and recommend you; AEO focuses on becoming the source an AI selects when a user asks a specific question. CiteVista measures both — and is actively expanding toward actionable guidance on why visibility gaps exist and what to do about them.

Our Approach

We build CiteVista the way we think GEO and AEO tools should work: based on how LLMs actually behave, not how we assume they do.

Every feature reflects patterns we first observed through hands-on consulting and direct experimentation. The citation scoring methodology, prompt cluster logic, and brand perception framework were developed through real brand audits — including cases where well-known brands with strong SEO footprints were receiving zero citations in AI responses for their core product categories.

We document what we learn. The CiteVista Insights section is where we publish our findings, methodology notes, and field observations — the same experiments that continue to shape how the platform evolves.
